People for Peace, Justice, and Healing met on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Antique Sandwich Company. Present for check-in were Carl, Colleen, Mark, Sallie, Ed, and Barb.

AGENDA

1. RECONSIDERATION OF THE FUNDAMENTAL CHARACTER OF PJH

As was proposed at the meeting of January 3, 2026, those present reviewed the character of People for Peace, Justice, and Healing: a leaderless group that makes decisions by consensus, whose members are those in attendance at its meetings, and that is open to all persons of good will. It is noteworthy that half of those present today were in attendance in September 2001 at its founding meeting. After a wide-ranging discussion, the group's characteristics, and in particular that of openness, were reaffirmed by consensus.
