MEETING NOTES

People for Peace, Justice, and Healing
March 16, 2013

People for Peace, Justice, and Healing met on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Antique Sandwich Company in Ruston.  Present for check-in were Sallie, Rob, Colleen, Mark, and Susan H.

AGENDA

1. CONTRIBUTION TO AD CAMPAIGN (Sallie)
PPJH decided to contribute $350 toward ongoing publication of an ad stating: "Equal Rights for Palestinians: The Way to Peace. Learn more at SEAmac.org and JewishVoicefor Peace.org." The ad was prepared by Seattle Middle East Awareness Campaign and co-sponsored by the local chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace.

2. CONTRIBUTION TO THE RACHEL CORRIE FOUNDATION Sallie)
PPJH decided to contribute $100.00 to the Rachel Corrie Foundation. Since Karen H. reported last week that PPJH had $861.94 in the bank, and $100 of the contribution toward the JVP ad came from a new contribution, after these two contributions PPJH will be left with $511.94 in its treasury.
