People for Peace, Justice and Healing met May 2, 2009, at Associated Ministries. Present for check-in: Sol, Ray, Mark, Sallie, Karen, Colleen, Terry, Vivi, Karen.
Fundraiser: Fundraiser to benefit the Interfaith Camp discussed.
Sol asked that we take time to express our thoughts about Obama's first 100. Various observations and anxieties expressed. Members encouraged to get "online" to express concerns at various websites including change.org and changeforamerica; also: pierce county for change
Documentary series on Afghanistan:
Terry estimates that attendance for the three Saturday night events and dinner varied between 40 and 15. Twelve attended the closing potluck and discussion group.

Digging Deeper: Meets Monday nights, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Mandolin Cafe.
