Mark summarized developments in the legal cases stemming from the port militarization resistance protests at the Port of Tacoma on Mar. 3-14, 2007. 3. LITERATURE REPORT (Dorothy)
Dorothy donated to PPJH a copy of an 80-page document entitled The 2007 Shift Report: Evidence of a World Transforming (Institute of Noetic Sciences, 2007). The report argues that "it is time" that humanity make "an evolutionary leap" comparable to the one whereby "materialistic science" helped human beings emerge from "a mind-set that relied on religious authority for verifying truths to one that valued an objective search for knowledge." The report concludes: "As this report makes clear, this leap will include the rigorous study of subjective, inner experience, a renewed appreciation for meaning and purpose, and a recognition that the world of consciousness is far more mysterious and influential than we have ever imagined." For more information, see the IONS web site.

4. PALESTINE (Nancy)
Nancy passed out a flyer on the Jun. 8-10 weekend of "End the Israeli Occupation" events in Seattle. See here for more. For information for information on carpooling to these events from Tacoma, call 952-0571.
