People for Peace, Justice, and Healing met on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Antique Sandwich Company in Ruston. Present for check-in were Sallie, Carl, Mark, Rob, Sheila, Vivi, Susan D., and Sonja.

1. SUPPORT FOR SOUTH SOUND AIDS WALK (Carl)
On Sat., Sept. 21, the Pierce County AIDS Foundation will celebrate 22 years of raising funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS with a South Sound AIDS Walk, a
family-friendly event that will bring together more than 1,000 Pierce, Thurston and Lewis County residents from all walks of life at Cheney Stadium
to walk in support of those infected and affected, to honor the memory of those lost, and to renew their commitment in the fight against AIDS in our communities.
