Discussion of escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

2. DEC. 18 MEETING (All)
The Dec. 11 meeting will be the last meeting of PPJH at Associated Ministries. On Dec. 18 the meeting will be held at Commencement Bay Coffee, 2354 Jefferson Ave., Tacoma.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. BILL OF RIGHTS CELEBRATION (Nancy)
The Bill of Rights Defense Committee-Tacoma and the local chapter of the ACLU are holding the annual Bill of Rights Day Celebration on Dec. 15, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Harmon Tap Room, 204 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma. A torch-lit parade to King’s Books, 218 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma, will follow for a special movie screening and reading of the Bill of Rights. If you are in the area (or know people who are), please show your support. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.

2. DIGGING DEEPER (Mark)
On Mon., Nov. 29, UFPPC's book discussion group will explore statistical perspectives on reality at the Mandolin Cafe in Tacoma as it discusses Nassim Nicholas Taleb's bestselling *The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable*, 2nd ed. (2010) and Hans Christian van Baeyer's *Maxwell's Demon: Why Warmth Disperses and Time Passes* (1998).
