General discussion included the ACLU and Bill of Rights Defense Committee celebration of the Bill of Rights held on December 15 at Harmon's Tap Room and King's Book where a film about the 1999 WTO Battle in Seattle, "This is What Democracy Looks Like," was shown. There was no check-in.

Agenda:

Interfaith Camp: Nancy
Since plans for the Interfaith Camp for this summer have yet to be resolved, Nancy introduced the possibility of a day rather than all day camp. A round of possible daytime activities appropriate for young people was discussed. These activities would follow, say, a morning session dedicated to an introduction to various faiths that might take place at appropriate places of worship. A day program would preclude the necessity of having to find an overnight camping spot. Camp Seymour is apparently not available for this year. General discussion of the possibilities and needs for creating and executing a day camp program. Possible fee might be as little as $50 for the week. When it was noted that some of the students that attended past camps were from other areas i.e. Seattle or Olympia, the idea was discussed of offering hospitality to them in local homes.
