People for Peace, Justice, and Healing met on December 29, 2007, at Le Donut Shop on S. 11th Street, across from Safeway. Present for check-in were Vivi, Colleen, Nancy, Ray, Karen, and Sheila.

1. World Affairs Summit (Colleen)
Plans are proceeding for the PLU-World Affairs Summit scheduled for February 22 and 23. Planning meetings are at the TNT, Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. If you are interested in participating in the planning, go to the TNT lobby and ask for location of World Affairs Meeting with Kathy Brewis.

2. ACLU Advocacy Workshop (Colleen)
Training for Lobby Day, January 21, will be held at King's Books on Wednesday, January 2nd, at 6:30 p.m. Free food! Make sure Olympia hears from you. Important issues coming up in the legislature: Domestic partnerships, gender equity, privacy issues, voting rights. Learn tips on how to influence your representatives.

Discussion: Anniversary of traditional Leonard Peltier event. Question: How and if to proceed.
