ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. HEALTH CARE PUBLIC MEETING (Rob)
The annual meeting of Physicians for a National Health Care Program, Western Washington Chapter, will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sat., Mar. 3, in Room 120 of Kane Hall on the campus of the Univ. of Washington-Seattle.  Entitled "Health Care and Social Justice: How We Get There, Where We Came From, Where We Are," it will feature Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!, Quentin Young, M.D. PNHCP national coordinator, and Teresa Mosqueda of the Washington State Labor Council. The public is invited, admission is free.

2. OCCUPY SOLIDARITY SOCIAL FORUM (Sallie)
Occupy Olympia (WA) and the Alliance for Global Justice are hosting an Occupy Solidarity Social Forum Feb. 18-19 in the Washington state capital city.  The self-organized, social forum-type gathering is open to all occupiers and allies.
