MEETING NOTES FOR PEOPLE FOR PEACE, JUSTICE, AND HEALING
March 8, 2008

People for Peace, Justice, and Healing met at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Associated Ministries. Present for check-in: Rob, Sallie S., Nancy, Mark, and Vivi.

AGENDA

1. "OUR DINNER WITH 'MY DINNER WITH ANDRÉ'" DEBRIEF (Group)
Discussion of PPJH's successful Mar. 1 event. A few disliked the film, but the great majority enjoyed the evening.

2. ETHNIC FEST (Sallie S.)
Ethnic Fest in Tacoma's Wright Park is scheduled for July 26 & 27, 2008. A table has been reserved to be shared by PPJH, United for Peace of Pierce County, Veterans for Peace, and the South Sound Peace & Justice Center.

3. GLOBAL EXCHANGE (Sallie S.)
Sallie has received an inquiry about Mar. 31 and Apr. 1 as possible dates to bring to town speakers who are part of Global Exchange's trinational tour on trade and immigration issues. Consensus was that time appears to be too short to realize this project.
