Meeting Notes for People for Peace, Justice, and Healing

People for Peace, Justice and Healing met Saturday, June 18, 2005, at Associated Ministries. Present for check-in were Mark, Sallie, Sheila and Kyle, Colleen, Karen and Vivi. Great discussion: rat control, religion, homelessness, et al.

Program: Mark presented a program which included a colorful (and dazzling) reading of a translation of a Saint-Simonian vision from 1832 of a future city, and a Bruce Springsteen song -- MY CITY IN RUINS. Enjoyed by all.

AGENDA:

CONVERSATION CAFE
Question for coming week: (Something to the effect of) Do Americans have healthy attitudes about sex? Referred to Mark for tweaking. Mark felt question on "bad taste" last week wasn't particularly successful.
