People for Peace, Justice and Healing met at 10 a.m. on December 3, 2005, at Associated Ministries. Present for check-in were: Colleen, Mark, Sallie, Sally, Sharon, Rob, Karen, Sheila, Kyle and Nancy. We enjoyed treats from Morocco brought to us by world traveler, Colleen. Discussion: Colleen in Morocco and Spain and world reactions to Americans.

CONVERSATION CAFE: Discussion -- materialism in America. Why do people spend so much on Christmas presents? Other discussion topics: Who (or what) needs to change for me to become happy? What is your burn? (i.e. your passion or what motivates you?) Question of week: Who needs to change for me to be happy?

Discussion: Jimmy Carter's new book and his criticism of the current administration.

PHYSICIANS FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: We've received a request from PSR to list concerns and issues we'd like them to put on their agenda. Ideas suggested and discussed: Corporations and the Media, Sustainability Issues, Post Traumatic Stress as a social phenomenon, How do we Heal? Public Health and Clean Water. Discussion.

STEVE LARSON; Steve is returning to town for a week. Discussion re: setting up a meet-up with Steve event. Possible brown bag lunch at A.M.
